Another clean sweep for exciting new Str8 Exsakt at Oceania Sprint in NZ
Nea Shingler wins the Oceania Sprint Championships with a dominating performance. Second and third over the line were Erica Enderby and Milla Key, also from Australia and part of the next generation of stars from down under. All three place getters were using the latest from Str8, the high performance Exsakt, unique for its manoeuvrability and accuracy and just what was required for this highly technical race.

The Empire strikes back
Ralph Street is a journeyman, orienteering maestro and WOC medallist.
His story covers the planet. From the UK and currently residing in Norway, Ralph has raced and travelled far and wide to finally achieve a individual podium and team silver medal at WOC.
On the journey he has lived and trained in Australia, competed at the World Games in the USA, raced the European World Cup circuit and ran all the big races and relays in Scandinavia. There is almost nowhere Ralph hasn’t been orienteering.
Ralph is not alone, he is one of very many athletes committed to achieving success in orienteering while savouring the memorable moments along the route to get there.

Megan Carter-Davies breaks through to win WOC.
Megan Carter-Davies has won WOC Gold and Silver in Denmark
In a break-through of seismic proportions for World orienteering, British orienteering superstar Megan Carter-Davies has cemented her place at the top with an outstanding win in the Individual Sprint in Denmark.
Megan also anchored home the Great Britain team for a best ever result Silver medal in the Sprint relay competition.
Megan chose the new Str8 EXSAKT compass.

Yannick wins WOC medal, finally.
Yannick Michels is always one the favourites.
In dramatic scenes, Yannick Michels won his first ever Bronze medal at WOC. Such high success is also a first for Belgium. His blistering speed combined with sublime navigating has promoted him to one of the sports all-time great Sprint orienteers and a true specialist.
The result follows many top ten places, several 4th places and ultimate success at World Cups including a brilliant performance in China. In the past he has won Silver at the European Championships and the World Games

The O-Club from Avesta Sweden, Dalaportens OL, invites you to a historical orienteering event: the same course, different places, simultaneously everywhere!
Welcome to the World MAZE Race!
When?
Saturday, May 29th, 2021, 10am - 2pm local time.
Where
Everywhere! All clubs around the world can join. In as many locations as possible. The goal for this year is 100 locations! Each club builds the maze in a suitable location where you can also promote the club's activities such as Permanent Course, Urban O-Race, School orienteering etc. A suitable location can be the main square, a park, a mall or the clubhouse.
How?
Maze orienteering with same courses in different locations.
5 training courses (green, blue, red, black and a duel) and 1 race course (orange). A winner "world wide" is selected in each class as below. Dalaportens OL provides all courses.
Classes
- Youth, female and male (-16 years)
- Senior, female and mail (17-35 years)
- Master, female and male (36-69 years)
Entry is open from March 1st!
